If you’re reading this I would like to say a huge, HELLO! Welcome to my little corner of the internet, ‘What Eva Wears’, the virtual home of a 20 year old university student named (you guessed it) Eva, with a longstanding interest in fashion, beauty, photography, and the arts. Having stalked browsed fashion and beauty related blogs for such a long time, always with an inclination to write my own but never having the confidence to, January 2016 marked me finally taking the leap of beginning my own blog as a little hobby to indulge an escape in when I’m not procrastinating, ahem, furrowed in a lengthy book studying at uni.
Expect plenty of outfit posts, fashion show reports and trend chats, beauty looks and product reviews, and perhaps the odd lifestyle post here and there.
Now a little note about the ethos at the very heart of this blog. A keen interest in fashion and beauty is often viewed by the outside world as frivolous and superficial, but I have always been of the opinion that since one is in this body for life, it is the ultimate best investment! Nonetheless, the fundamental message I would like to convey on this blog is this; that, despite the judgement and glaring perfection of the fashion and beauty industries, each and every one of us is inherently beautiful, one can simply use such to enhance their best assets.
I thought I’d end with a couple of my favourite, fabulously pompous fashion related quotes - enjoy!
“A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.” - Coco Chanel
“You can never be overdressed or overeducated.” - Oscar Wilde
“I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet.” - Carrie Bradshaw
Until next time,
