As you lovely lot know, I'm a sucker for a designer piece. Whether its a pair of show stopping heels, an investment wardrobe staple, or a classic bag, I'm not ashamed to say that I will totally splash the cash on a luxe label. Over the past year or so, I've been steadily building up my designer bag collection, and one of my go-to brands has been Chloé.
Chloé is most definitely one of my favourite brands - the house is known for Parisian and feminine accents that I love to incorporate into my style. I already have the Chloé Faye in a gorgeous burgundy colour which I managed to get discounted at Bicester Village (a major win for team Eves - I'll tell you the full tale another day!), and the Chloé treat I'll be sharing today is a similar bargain.

Meet Miss C, the newest addition to my handbag collection.
Isn't she a beauty?
This is one of Chloé's newest styles of bags, first appearing on the 2019 Resort runway, one of many new styles launched since Natacha Ramsay-Levi's appointment as creative director in 2017. All Ramsay-Levi's bags have seemingly stayed true to Chloé's Parisian cool-girl aesthetic, in much the same way that Claire Waight-Keller's did, but with a touch more edge. The Tess and the 'C', for example, two notable new arrivals, appear with much bolder, brighter hardware, and equestrian feel.
This particular style stuck out to me due to its pracitcal shape, simple, clean design and cool new logo. You can carry it a number of ways; cross body, one shoulder and top handle which makes it incredibly versatile too.

The RRP of this bag is £980 to £1,160' not actually too bad for a designer bag, but a lot of cash to part with, nonetheless. I paid no such price, however. Be at the ready to raise your hands and shower me with applause when I reveal to you that I got this beaut for a stunning £375 pound sterling price tag. That's right kids, a whole 60% (ish - i'm tired and mental maths isn't my strong point) off.

Now, you may well be sitting there thinking, "HOW?" How did you nab such a bargain, Eva?! Well, let me tell you.
Reselling websites are your best friend, folks, particularly when it comes to super trend led pieces. I managed to get this bag from Depop, from a reputed seller who had over 50 positive reviews, many for selling other high end items. The item came exactly as described, brand new with tissue paper, authenticity card and dust bag. I had actually been browsing for vintage Chloé bags (everybody says the Boston is well and truly outdated - but I have a sneaky suspicion it could make a comeback) and stumbled across this gorgeous piece. White was not necessarily the colour I would've chosen - but to make sure I didn't just buy because it was a good price, I had a proper look at my handbag collection, took stock of the gaps, and realised that a white handbag was actually something missing from my collection. Miss C is now my 8th designer bag purchase, and let me tell you a little secret; I have paid full price for a grand total of ZERO of them. Yep, you read that correctly!

If you'd like me to start a little blog series on how I shop luxe for less (I've just started to invest in ready to wear, too), then let me know! I've been picking up lots of tips and tricks along the way and am starting to build up a good collection of pieces that I can see myself wearing season after season.

For now, I hope you all like my new purchase! Welcome to the family, Miss C!

Do you like to splurge on luxe pieces too? Have you got your eye on a little luxe treat? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,
Bisous <3
