So I'm back with a new Makeup Monday, and today I'm talking about a new makeup line, 'Trinny London'! I was very kindly gifted some products from the makeup range of Trinny Woodall, which was super exciting as I had watched her for years on 'What Not To Wear' with my mum when growing up! The range aims to be a portable, versatile and easy to use - everything comes in little pots, can be applied with fingers and stacks together making it extremely streamlined and travel friendly. I've been trying out the products for a couple of months now and thought I would give you my review!

'EYE2EYE' in shades 'CHARIOT' and 'EMPRESS' - £18.00*
Available Here

My favourite products of the collection are without doubt the cream eyeshadows. These are an absolutely beautiful consistency - very creamy but still very light. The best thing is that they are buildable without creasing. I find a little product goes a long way, so just apply the tiniest amount for a wash of colour, or continue building if I want something more intense.

If you're pretty lazy with your makeup you will love this - on days when I can't be bothered with doing a full eye look I simply wash this over my lids and I'm done. SO so easy!

I would definitely love to try more of these and build up my collection of colours!

'FLUSH BLUSH' in 'KATRIN' - £20.00*
Available Here

I absolutely love this shade - it's a beautiful dusky rose / fawny brown, which makes it a lovely shade for the lips also. I've actually found that I've tended to use this on my lips more than my cheeks because I love the colour so much.

If you are a fan of a subtle blush, then this product is perfect for you - just add a little dab with your fingers and you'll get a hint of colour that is very natural looking. Now, generally on a day to day basis I overkill my blush - it's just what I like, so I still use powder blushes more when I'm doing a full face as its way easier to build up colour quickly. However, I find I tend to use this more on no makeup days as its the perfect product for a seamless flush of colour. If you are a fan of cream products also, you will love this, it's not too sticky and a little goes a long way!

If you have a medium/tan skin tone like mine I would definitely recommend this shade for you particularly - it's beaut!

'LIP2CHEEK' in 'FREDDIE' - £25.00*
Available Here

This was the dark horse of the collection! I didn't expect to use this as much as I do, as generally I'm quite lazy and prefer to use lip products that are in stick form, as, like I say, I'm not generally one to use my fingers when applying makeup. However, I have found that this often lives in my handbag! If ever I am out and about and feel to freshen up my makeup, I'll often just put this on my lips on top of whatever I already have on as it's such a wearable colour. I can also add a little on my cheeks too if I want, which is why I find it so handy to have in my bag - it serves as both a lippy and a blush!

I would also describe this colour as the ultimate 'working woman' shade. I think its very professional looking - the perfect faded red - packs a punch without being too bold and still fairly nude (if that makes sense!), so I think it would be great for the office.

It's also pretty moisturising - (it's enriched with vitamin E), another reason it lives in my bag as I absolutely hate when whatever lip colour I am wearing begins to try out my lips! I can then just walk a bit of this on and still have some lip colour on without my lips drying up.

I would definitely recommend this - I think it'll look pretty on all skin tones!

'BFF CREAM SPF30' - £35.00*
Available Here

Unfortunately this is the only product in the range that I really didn't get on with. I have very very sensitive skin and I think this broke me out, so I had to stop using it. I also knew I would never be a BB cream convert because I simply don't have good enough skin for such a low coverage! Having said that, when I first started testing it I found the consistency to be nice - it definitely didn't provide enough coverage for me but then I didn't expect it to as its a BB cream. If you are someone who doesn't like heavy product on the skin, you will love this. It's very lightweight but provides a very sheer coverage - if you have good skin then this would be a perfect day to day base for you just to even out those tiny imperfection. This would also be great for anyone who loves no makeup makeup - it definitely just looks like skin! It's just a shame that this product didn't work for me!

Overall, I'm impressed with Trinny's range! I love love the concept of the stackable makeup - it definitely makes it very travel friendly and I love how interchangeable the products are. My standout product is definitely the 'EYE2EYE' cream shadows, particularly in the 2 shades I have (in the pic about I'm wearing 'empress' - they are stunninggggg! I would like to try the foundation and concealer and some more eye shades, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the range expands.

Have you guys used any of the Trinny London makeup? Which product sounds most exciting to you? Let me know in the comments below!

Until next time,
Bisous <3
