Hello lovelies!!!
Andddddd we're back to super casual again! I know this is nothing ground breaking here, but some days it's just comfort over everything, ya feel? On those days (and to be honest, when you're as lazy as me, this is more days than I care to admit) a chunky knit is your best friend. My philosophy when it comes to the knit: oversize it, every time. It's apt for an abundance of situations. Exhibit A: kind of chilly outside but don't fancy lugging round a proper coat? Chuck on the knit. Exhibit B: The all too common 'I haven't made use of that gym membership I signed up for January as a New Years resolution so I have a permanent food baby.' No problem, the knit's got you covered (pun intended). Going out for dinner and preparing yourself for an imminent food coma so don't want to wear anything too fitted? Yep, you guessed it - It's time for the knit. So there's a quick Lazy dressing 101 for you, folks. Now recently there has been that trend of oversized everything, I'm talking chunky knitwear, wide leg trousers, and trainers just incase that casual vibe wasn't present enough, and honestly, I can't say I was the biggest fan of it for myself. So, if I wear something oversized and baggy, as a general rule of thumb I'll wear something tighter on the bottom, and thus I love to chuck on an oversized, chunky knit and a pair of jeans and I'm good to go. Here I've tried to look like I do kind of have my life together (it's getting to exam season, guys, and I really haven't got my shit together at all *le sigh*) and put in a little more effort in the accessory department - my Zara loafers, add a hint of smartness (is this a word? meh, I'm going with it), and a load of chunky silver rings to make it look slightly more 'stylish' whilst still effortless and grungy, if you know what I'm getting at!
I'm in love with this two tone Zara knit that I picked up in the January sales, and decided to continue the two tone theme throughout this outfit, by keeping everything monochrome. If this is a little too boring for you, you could easily liven it up with the standard 'pop of colour accessory' - I would pair this with yellow heels, a cobalt blue suede jacket, or even just a classic red lip.
Outfit Deets:

Jeans: Topshop
Bag: Primark (This bag LEGIT cost me £1.99!!)
